I was watching The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 last night and kinda let myself get emo. I'm glad i watched it alone. It's such a typical girly friends movie. Nevertheless, these kinda movies always gets to me, and watching it made me appreciate my friends evenmore. Especially after a great weekend. It was actually filled with sleepiness, indecisiveness and lotsa failed attempts to get things done. It has been awhile since all the girls actually stayed for hours in a house. My favourite part was actually at the end after cleaning up the mess, all of us literally lay flat on the floor, taking breaths before moving to Lan's bbq. Everyone was so light as if we were on something. It was a good weekend of just being together.
In times like these, I'm glad i could count on my girlfriends to do things at the very last minute. It turned out pretty good too. Imagine if those things weren't there, it would be so bland! So yeah, thank you for doing this at the very last minute. Sorry if u know, among other things, i kinda made noise when some of you watched that tattoo show on astro and your hands are not doing work! or maybe doing it with half of the effiency. What I'm trying to say is that i know we can drive each other crazy at times but thank God in the end, we all forget about those little little things.
I think we've shared a fair bit in growing up. Went through the immature primary school bitching phase, seen each other fall in and out of love, failed exams and graduate from uni, and hopefully will see more of each other finding soulmates and getting babies.
Here's to my girlfriends.
Looking forward to growing old with you and may we still have a cuppa together at the age of 60.
Cheers!
